Has anyone started watching American Gods? If so, any good?

I've watched the first three eps.

If you've seen Hannibal TV series (same producer & director for first ep), there is a very similar visual style with very striking imagery.

I've read the book (it's one of my favourites), and it follows the story pretty closely.
But my feeling is that if you've never read the book, the first few eps are going to be confusing as hell, because nothing is really explicitly explained. The show also takes its time, reveling in its lore building, so it feels like the story moves at a pretty slow pace too.
I still think it's brilliant, but it depends on whether you have the patience to stick with it.
It might be better to wait until all the eps are out, and then marathon it.
That alone makes it a must watch. I'll prob wait till the whole season is out though.

I have too many shows recommended by Mad to watch until Twin Peaks anyway. I'll wait 'til it's done and everyone says whether it's good or sucks or leaves a giant pointless cliffhanger that will never get resolved because it got cancelled.

Oregon Trail 3rd Edition. Feels like slightly more of a game than Oregon Trail II, although it's largely the same thing. The music sucks so there's less charm to it all. All my animals died about 2/3 the way through. Going to have another go at it soon.

Twin Peaks season 3 tonight.  :hehe:

What's this Showtime shit, when does it comes to HBO, Hulu, or Netflix instead :wonder:

For an extra price you can add Showtime to your Hulu account. Or just torrent it like the filthy pirate you are. :rtard:
