autistic

ugh
I didn't mean autistic in the derogatory term I meant literally an autistic person's rigid and compulsory view of relationships or in this case the directors interpretation of an autistic persons view of romantic relationships. Take your ughs elsewhere.

The Lobster is so good. If you like super weird, deadpan comedy, art house bullshit, watch it on Netflix. It reminded me of Zardoz in an "I will never watch a movie that's like this again" way.
I feel like The Lobster is an autistic persons view on romantic relationships and human companionship as a whole. The movie is hilarious though.
You think he actually blinded himself or left her there?

We'll agree to disagree ;) The only game there that should even be mentioned in the same sentence as ND is Nier Automata imo. Bayo is great too but the rest are just 'good' games. ND literally has the defining game of the generation.

I'm just a big fan of the genre that Platinum excels at, so yeah there is definitely bias from me.

But at the same time they, as Zodd mentioned, their games are often unique, bring interesting unique mechanics, and are under-the-radar good.
Vanquish is super underrated / under-the-radar. But it's super frenetic boost and shoot gameplay is not like any other game, and is pretty much antithetical to the 3rd person hide behind a wall, pop and shoot gameplay that's so prevalent (which ironically Uncharted is emblematic of).
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance also gets buried beneath the stupid title. But the mechanic to slice objects from any angle is also groundbreaking, and it's another solid title gameplay wise.
Anarchy Reigns was pretty shallow to be honest, but it's one of the better/unique multiplayer brawlers out there.
Wonderful 101 I never played, and I think it's pretty under-the-radar as well, by virtue of the fact that it's a Wii U game. But again, it's pretty unique, and utilised the Wii U hardware like the touch screen uniquely.

And for the record, TLoU came out originally on PS3 generation. And there are many more defining games of that generation, like Skyrim, GTA IV/V, CoD4. And if you're talking PS3 exclusive, then it's Uncharted 2 (which is still ND, but I like it a whole lot better than TLoU).
If you're talking about current gen, I'd have to think about it, I don't think any game has come out as truly defining to me yet. Best candidates would probably be Witcher 3, God of War maybe.

I watched Polar on Netflix. It was good in a dumb nonsense action flick kind of way. Reminiscent of John Wick, although maybe not quite as cool action sequences, still entertaining.
